GE has integrated technology of heat pump into a water heater that they call the Geo Spring Hybrid Hot Water Heater. It uses the same 50 gallon capacity tank of a traditional water heater which saves around 320.00/year or 3200.00 over 10 years which is a significant cost and energy savings.
