Sony NEX-VG 20 camcorder

The Sony NEX-VG 20 camcorder has many improvements over the NEX-VG10. It has a larger APS 16 megapixel sensor for capturing high resolution stills, as well as capturing 2.1 megapixel stills from HD 1920 x 1080 video recordings. Better manual focus controls, also offers 1080 60p, 1080 60i, 1080 24p, frame rates versus only
1080 30p on the NEX-VG10. It seems odd they did not include the 30p option on NEX-VG 20 as some people may prefer this over the 24P frame rate. The touchscreen swivels to 270 degrees and includes touch capability. With more E-mount lenses available, and the ability to change lenses this camera appears to be a very good value if one likes to have DSLR quality stills but not be handicapped trying to shoot video with a DSLR, and have real camcorder controls, quality video and audio.

Fuji X-Pro1 camera

The Fuji X-Pro1 camera utilizes an APS sized sensor that is designed with “X-Trans Cmos” without the need for optical low pass filter which increases the transparency of light directly to the imager. This design results in less loss of light and increase in detail.
