The Dutch Manufacturer Deonet makes some of the worlds smallest USB memory devices, the one I like is their Credit Card USB Stick. It can be personalized, and possibly serve as a new type of business card that people will not want to lose. I think this design is great as one just keeps in it their wallet and always have one when needed.

If you have never heard of Emotiva they make real professional level products with a 5 year limited warranty that offer super value. The Emotiva ERC-2 CD Reference Player is a professional level CD player complete with Two Balanced XLR outputs, XLR AES/EBU digital outputs, digital TOS Link, digital coaxial, and unbalanced outputs. One would expect to pay considerably more for a Reference CD Player, its a great value at only 449.00 not much more than many of the mid range consumer brands. With a 5 year warranty one saves on not needing to buy an extended warranty plan that a lot of the stores try to sell since many manufacturers of consumer grade audio products do not offer standard 5 year warranties.

Its a great idea as the speakers simply screw into a standard 5 or 6 inch recessed can styled light fixture with edison screw in lamp base. Includes two input sources for audio 2.4 ghz transmitter with 2 remotes, 40,000 hr fully dimmable LED for lighting. A very cost effective way of adding custom home audio without any expensive rewiring.

Pocket Projector for iPhone4

Recently saw the Brookstone Pocket Projector for iPhone 4 on display in a Brookstone store. The Iphone 4 slips into a 2100 mah battery pack which resembled a Mophie Juice Pack with a miniature DLP projection system built in, capable of about 15 Lumens. The store unfortunately was brightly lit and no real surface to demo it on. The clerk projected it off two chairs and I could see that the video would have looked acceptable in a dark lit room. The spec claims up to 50 inch, however it has a resolution of 640 x 360 pixels so its something to keep in mind if projecting a large 50inch screen at 15 lumens. On the other hand when going for even 12 to 24 inch would be huge compared to a 4 inch iPhone screen and still look reasonably sharp. There is a built in .5 watt speaker, one would be better off using a blue tooth enabled Jam Box or similar device for more amplification though.
The neat thing is someone that is used to walking around with a Mophie Juice Pack or similar pack could basically replace it with this device and still have backup capability of a battery plus have a minature projector available at the flip of a switch (actually holding down a button for about 3 seconds) with almost no noticeable difference in size.
